Construction contract approved for the Trinity Strand Trail Hi Line Span Project

On February 12, 2025, the Dallas City Council approved an $8.8 million construction contract to support the Trinity Strand Trail Hi-Line Span Project. The trail infrastructure project includes a new pedestrian bridge at the end of Hi Line Drive in the Design District, and will connect the Circuit Trail and the Katy Trail to the Trinity Strand Trail, further enhancing connectivity within the City’s trail network. A lookout plaza at the new bridge will feature a shade structure, lighting, landscaping, and a public art sculpture.
