ORBIS Corporation, Bobby Stovall, Honored at Greenville Annual Banquet

The Greenville Chamber of Commerce and the Greenville Board of Development (GBOD) held its annual banquet on Friday, February 6, using the space to look ahead to the region’s future while celebrating the companies and individuals that make a positive impact on the community.

“Greenville is a fantastic city because of the countless individuals and teams that invest in it,” says Holly Gray, Chairman of GBOD. “The annual banquet is an opportunity to recognize the tireless efforts and hard work of everyone who wants to see the city succeed.”

Two notable honorees were the ORBIS Corporation, which received the Community Investment Award, and Hunt County Judge Bobby Stovall, who was named Greenville’s Worthy Citizen. Learn more about these awards and the exceptional efforts of their recipients. 

ORBIS Celebrated for Its Continued Investment in Greenville 

ORBIS received the Community Investment Award following the renovation and grand opening of its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The site began operating in January 2025 and includes 420,000 square feet of manufacturing space and 240,000 square feet of
warehouse capacity. ORBIS is expected to create more than 190 new jobs over the next three years to accommodate future expansion.

“This transformational project reflects ORBIS’ long‑term commitment to supporting economic growth and environmental stewardship in the Greenville community,” the company shared in a press release.

ORBIS has 175 years of experience in plastics innovations. Its Greenville facility will produce reusable totes and pallets, which are essential to the global supply chain.

Stovall Recognized for His Work With the Business Community

Outgoing Hunt County Judge Bobby Stovall was named Greenville’s Worthy Citizen for 2025. Not only has Stovall served the community from his judge’s seat, but he is also the founder of Stovall and Associates Land Surveying, which handles more than 2,500 real estate transactions per year.

Stovall has a long history of community service in Greenville. Throughout his career, he has served on the Greenville Electric Utility System Board of Trustees, GBOD as a business advisor, the Greenville Flood Mapping Effects Committee, and the Greenville Economic Development Sales Tax Re-Allocation Committee.
