PRESS RELEASE – TEXAS WATER DEVELOPMENT BOARD APPROVES $90,500,000 TO THE CITY OF GREENVILLE (HUNT COUNTY) FOR A WATER SUPPLY PROJECT
GREENVILLE: The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) on July 23, 2024, approved by resolution financial assistance in the amount of $90,500,000 in financing from the State Water Implementation Fund for Texas (SWIFT) program to the City of Greenville (Hunt County). The City will use the assistance for the planning, acquisition, design, and construction of a water supply project.
