Greenville ISD Awards Over $290,000 in Teacher Incentive Allotment Designations

May 27, 2025

Greenville ISD is proud to announce that, based on 2023–2024 school year data, 21 outstanding educators have been awarded designations through the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA), totaling $291,655 for the 2024–2025 school year.

Excitement filled the halls of Greenville ISD over the last week, as a celebratory parade, joined by the Greenville ISD Board of Trustees and Superintendent of Schools Dr. Joe Lopez, marched through campuses, making special stops at each designated teacher’s door. To their complete surprise, each teacher was notified of their designation, which not only applies for this year but will remain valid for the next five years.

The Teacher Incentive Allotment, established by the Texas Legislature as part of House Bill 3, provides additional compensation to top-performing teachers based on their effectiveness in the classroom.
