Greenville Early College High School Welcomes Record-Breaking Freshman Class
April 1, 2025
Greenville ISD's Early College High School (ECHS) continues to set new records, welcoming its largest freshman class in history for the 2025-2026 school year. This milestone follows an unprecedented number of applications—more than ever before since the program’s launch in 2018.
ECHS provides students with a unique opportunity to earn an associate degree from Paris Junior College while simultaneously completing their high school diploma—all at no cost to families. The program offers two specialized pathways: Engineering and Allied Health, opening doors for students to gain a head start on careers in high-demand fields.
Because of the increased interest, ECHS has expanded significantly to accommodate student demand. When the program first began, it served just 24 students. Now, with more than 200 students enrolled, Greenville ISD remains committed to providing access to higher education and career readiness for its scholars.
