“We recently met with Paris Junior College, and they communicated that students need more information about what to do after graduation, how to plan a career, and what information to gather,”  said Jimenez.

How can business owners use the Economic Profiles tool?

The Economic Profiles tool provides business owners and employers with comprehensive labor market data for 14 counties in North Central Texas, including Hunt County. After selecting a county to explore, users can dive into data points relating to employment trends, demographics, industry snapshots, and occupational snapshots.

Users can also explore the Cost of Living, or COL, Index. This reporting option allows users to quickly evaluate the cost of basic living expenses across the 14 counties. A COL scale allows for quick comparisons that inform high-level decision-making.
